Zach Fry,

pastor of Park Gate Baptist Church, was born in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was raised in a Christian home and was saved in December of 1998 at the age of four. His family faithfully attended Slippery Rock Baptist Church during his elementary and teenage years. After graduating from high school, he had no clear direction for his life, so Zach decided to attend Bible college for a year. In the fall of 2012, he enrolled at Massillon Baptist College, where he met his future wife, Breanna. The Lord used that first semester to really work on his heart and Zach surrendered to the call to preach in December of that year. He then transferred to Fellowship Baptist College in Mooresville, IN in January of 2014. In December of that year Zach and Breanna were married. Zach graduated from FBCI in May of 2016, with a Bachelor’s degree in Bible. The Lord used several mission trips and internships during their time in college to prepare him and Breanna for ministry. For the next three and a half years after college, Zach served as the Assistant Pastor at Faithway Baptist Church in Greenfield, IN under Pastor Josh Poole. It was while serving there that the Lord opened the door for him to candidate for the pastoral position at Park Gate Baptist Church. Though it was through difficult circumstances, as the previous pastor of ten years had just passed away after battling cancer, the Lord’s leading was clear. The Fry’s moved from Indiana back to Pennsylvania and Zach became the pastor of Park Gate in July of 2019. Pastor Zach and his family are thrilled to be serving here in Ellwood City and desire to see continued church growth as they seek to please the Lord with their lives.
